The 2008 Readiness Workshop will be held August 19‑20, 2008, at the Hilton Knoxville Airport, 2001 Alcoa Highway, Alcoa, Tennessee 37701‑3163.

A block of rooms is available at the government per diem rate of $70 per night for reservations made by July 31. When making reservations, reference “Readiness Workshop.”

The newly renovated Hilton Knoxville Airport is connected to McGhee Tyson Airport by a 300‑ft covered walkway. Each guest room offers two telephones with voice mail and data ports (internet service). The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to local businesses, restaurants, the mall and a movie theater within 5 miles of the hotel. The Hilton Knoxville Airport is just 12 miles from downtown Knoxville, adjacent to McGhee Tyson Airport.

Approaching from the north, on I‑75 to the Business Loop to I‑40 East to Exit 386B (Airport, Alcoa Hwy/Route 129) or I‑75 to 275/Knoxville to I‑40 West to Exit 386B (Airport, Alcoa Hwy/Route 129). The hotel is about 11 miles on the right, just past the airport.

Approaching from the south, on I‑40 East or I‑75 North, take Exit 376B (Interstate I‑140), to Exit 11A (Alcoa Highway/Route 129). Continue on Alcoa Hwy/Route 129 for 2 miles. The hotel is on the right, just past the airport.

Approaching from the east, on I‑40 West take Exit 386B (Airport, Alcoa Hwy/Route 129). The hotel is about 11 miles on the right, just past the airport.

Approaching from the west, on I‑40 East take Exit 376B I‑140. Follow I‑140 11 miles to Exit 11A (Alcoa Highway/Route 129). Continue on Alcoa Hwy/Route 129 for 2 miles. The hotel is on the right, just past the airport.
