Officers

The Y‑12 Employees’ Society (YES) is managed by a board of 12 directors elected annually by the membership. Officers are elected by the Board.

Lisa Harris, President

Harris has worked at Y‑12 for five years. She is an electronic publisher and web developer. Before coming to Y‑12, Harris managed an international travel agency, arranged travel for the U.S. Army, served as a travel relocation counselor for U.S. Air Force staff and worked as a travel sales agent. She has held various volunteer positions at Y‑12, including YES Travel Director and Angel Tree coordinator.

Gina Davis Lee, Vice President

Lee has worked at Y‑12 since 2003. She works in the Information Technology group of Business Services. Before coming to Y‑12, Lee served eight years as an electronics technician in the U.S. Navy. She has held various volunteer positions at Y‑12, including YES Discounts Director, Mentoring Council, and American Heart Association team captain.

Amy Alley, Secretary

Alley has worked at Y‑12 for four years. She is a writer/editor in Public Affairs and Communications; she works on several internal and external publications, including The Y‑12 Report and The Y‑12 Times. Before joining PA&C, Alley worked for 10 years in one of ORNL’s divisions located at Y‑12. She served on the YES Board as a member at large during the last term.

Anna Lisa Conover, Treasurer

Conover joined Y‑12 in 2006. She is the procedure coordinator for the Chief Financial Officer division working in the General Accounting group. Conover has held many volunteer positions and organized many fund raisers with local charities, including VITA, the Red Cross, Walk for the Cure, and Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County.

Kevin Alexander, Publicity

Alexander has worked at Y‑12 for four years. He is an electrical engineer. Alexander has served as a mentor in the Co-op/Intern Mentoring Program. He has represented Y‑12 as a college recruiter, been a member of the Safety Expo Committee, and coached a YES softball team.

Bridget Correll, Vendor Discounts

Correll joined Y‑12 in 2006. She works in National Security and Development Programs as marketing communications manager. She currently serves on the Commmunity Reuse Organization of East Tennessee board of directors, Tate's School of Discovery board, Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee, Leadership Oak Ridge Advisory Group, Inskip Elementary School Community Advisory Committee and is a member of the Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotary.

Ryan Hay, Ticket Discounts

Hay has worked at Y‑12 for two years. He is a piping/HVAC design engineer. Outside work, Hay is active in his community and coaches boys basketball. He is also active in many school organizations at Tennessee Tech.

Naila Howell, Membership

Howell has worked at Y‑12 for five years. She is an architectural engineer and a member of the Steering Committee for Engineering's "Building Everyone Safe Tomorrows" program. Howell is a member of the Y-12 Jazz Band and membership chairperson of the East Tennessee Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Pete McKenzie, Sports

McKenzie has worked at Y‑12 for 24 years. He is an engineer and manager. Being a life-long sports fan, McKenzie has participated in company softball and volleyball leagues, coached and officiated youth sports in Knoxville and organized sporting events for YES since 2001.

Mike Monnett, Management Liaison

Monnett has worked at Y‑12 for seven years. He is the management liaison for YES. After his 20‑year career with the U.S. Army, Monnett served as a business developer for National Security Programs and the Oak Ridge Center for Manufacturing Technologies. Monnett is a strong advocate for YES.

Charlotte Schaefer, Distance Travel

Schaefer has been with Y‑12 for 34 years. She is a chemist in Analytical Chemistry of Quality Assurance Division. She serves as a facilitator for the Behavior-Based Safety program. Schaefer enjoys domestic and foreign travel. She is a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association. She is a supporter of the Jr. Pro and Amateur Athletic Union Basketball Programs and travels with a Knoxville team.

Rashaun Williams, Events

Williams has worked at Y‑12 for two years. He is an electrical/instrumentation and controls engineer. Williams has participated in various Y‑12 activities, including the YES softball league and Safety Expo. He also assists with events for the Y‑12 Mentoring Program.
