Changes to the YES family (07/08)
The Y‑12 Employees’ Society (YES) will undergo a board member change in August when one of the founding members and current president, Ala Montgomery, retires. She will leave YES in the capable hands of Lisa Harris, a board member of YES since 2004.
The hunt is on (04/08)
For the second year in a row, the Y‑12 Employees’ Society (YES) held an egg hunt at Cedar Hill Park for employees’
children and grandchildren. More than 200 children hunted 2,500 eggs filled with candy. Those finding golden eggs turned them in for a special prize.
Caring hearts adopt 550 angels (01/08)
It’s no surprise when Y‑12 employees show how caring they are, and the 2007 Angel Tree Program sponsored by the Y‑12 Employees? Society was no exception. More than 550 angels from Anderson, Monroe, Morgan, Roane and Sevier counties were adopted.
Santa + laughter + movies = holiday cheer (12/07)
Holiday celebrations sponsored by the company and the Y‑12 Employees’ Society were especially festive this year. Employees and their immediate families could choose to attend one of two events.
Prized eggs found (04/07)
More than 200 children attended the first‑ever Y‑12 egg hunt held March 29 at Cedar Hill Park in Oak Ridge. The egg hunt was sponsored by the Y‑12 Employees’ Society.
YES call for softball teams (03/07)
Interested in signing up for the 2007 YES softball league? Now’s the time. The entry deadline is April 20 for team rosters and registration
fee. All team members must sign a waiver and have eligibility verified before the start of league play.
Ringing in the holidays (12/06)

YES answers call to help other (03/06)
The Y‑12 Employees’ Society collected canned soups and boxed crackers for the Mission of Hope, a Knoxville‑based organization that began in 1996 to provide assistance, aid, resources and hope to those who live in the poverty‑stricken areas in rural Appalachia.

New York, New York! (11/05)
In October, 56 Y‑12 employees and their friends and family members visited the Big Apple thanks to a Y‑12 Employees’ Society‑sponsored trip.
